Google Chrome OS available to download in a week!

I just read on TechCrunch that Google just announced the Google Chrome OS launch in a week and they say they heard it from "a trusted source", this release was scheduled for next year but I don't think TechCrunch announces it for nothing.

It is also said that a possible weak point for Google Chrome OS is driver support, since it is known that Google has had a legion of engineers developing hardware drivers for some time.

This is very important to the success of this new Operating system since everyone is going to want to download it and if they have hardware conflicts, the first thing people are going to do is "throw the first stone" against Google Chrome OS.

We may not be able to use it on ANY machine from day one, but Google announced that it was working with these companies on the project: Acer, Adobe, ASUS, Freescale, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and Toshiba.

There are also rumors that the version of Google Chrome for MAC It will be available in mid-December.

Luckily my new notebook is Acer, so I hope to test it soon!
