3 Basic Tips for New Bloggers

While I have already written an article with 5 tips for new bloggers as a guest on the blog of @chicaseo, I think an article with more basic tips is necessary since the tips above take many things for granted.

There are mistakes that we all make and they can cost us an audience, Maybe we are expressing very good ideas but we are not doing it in the right way to really hook our readers.

So here are 3 basic tips for new bloggers:

1) Readable content: Many times I saw blogs with good content, but the problem is that it was not easy to read, using white letters on a black background (or worse, red or blue letters) tires the reader's eyes and generally ends up running away from us.

Having a template that makes it easier to read creates more respect and seriousness among our readers and other bloggers.

2) Wording: Another fundamental aspect is our writing style, the attention time we have to hook the reader with our content is short.

A good structure of our article is essential, the reader must understand what information they will receive just by looking at our title and quickly "scanning" our text.

It is very difficult not to make any spelling errors, in fact I usually correct my articles several times after they are published, but we must have a commitment to deliver our content with the highest possible quality.

To write a blog I would suggest using short paragraphs that quickly express the idea you want to convey instead of long blocks of text that bore the reader.

3) Avoid excess gadgets: While many gadgets are geared towards giving a better visitor experience, many are only there to annoy you.

What does your reader gain with a lot of clocks with the different times of the world, a hit counter or a music player and a lot of other decorations?

Basically you gain nothing, unless you put your original music that cannot be found anywhere else, a music player is most likely useless.

Do not waste space on superfluous things that do not help you meet your objectives or the objectives of the reader ... the important thing is your content.

Well-written content, free of spelling mistakes, easy to read and with the least amount of distractions helps you communicate your opinion and ideas in a much more efficient way to your audience.
