Automated Administration of Adwords Campaigns
Adwords recently launched a new beta option to automate campaign management for select US and UK agencies.
Adwords automate allows you to configure parameters to determine changes in the bids, budget and status of ads at the level of ad, keyword, ad group and campaign.
For example, we can configure parameters to pause all ads that after a week obtain a lower conversion rate than X% and thus avoid having to perform performance controls manually.
This tool allows automated testing of bids, text ads and budget, which really saves a lot of optimization time on campaigns.
Although these are not the only optimization elements for Adwords campaigns, they undoubtedly allow us greater control and the possibility of spending more time optimizing other elements of the campaign.
I hope that if the feedback from the US and UK agencies is good, the agencies and professionals from the rest of the world can count on this tool in a very short time.
It should be noted that the possibility of managing campaigns in an automated way according to parameters is nothing new, since many premium PPC account management tools have offered this type of options for years, however it is very pleasant to see that this can now be accessed without paying extra. (Although I don't think it is so funny to tool developers)
