The Present Requires You To Be A Swiss Army Knife

Lately it seems fashionable to complain about the SEM, this week I read article after article of SEOs whining debating the fact that entrepreneurs are more willing to invest in SEM than SEO.

Several misleading statistics even became popular that 90% of traffic comes from search engines and only 10% of investment is made in SEO ... While it is true that 90% of traffic comes from search engines, what percentage of this traffic is of commercial interest?

I think that if only traffic with immediate interest in buying something were taken into account the statistics would be much more balanced.

Why do entrepreneurs prefer to invest in SEM?

Because they see results instantly, if you are SEO and complain about the "impatience" of employers who prefer to hire SEM over your services, please ask yourself this question.

Would you buy a cell phone in 6 monthly installments if you can only see the cell phone at the end of the 6th month and the seller cannot give you a guarantee if it is an iPhone, Black Berry or an old Nokia 1100?

An entrepreneur sees it that way ... and prefers to spend more money for something safe, as long as he receives a return on his investment for him, everything is perfect.

So how do you offer SEO?

When the relationship with the entrepreneur builds, you already have a solid return on investment and you see that all of this Internet stuff really works for your market and you have more knowledge, curiosity and information about how the Internet really works.

There he is the one who raises ... why not try SEO too?

Although SEO is a fairly complex "art" in itself, it is only the tip of the iceberg in everything that encompasses Online Marketing.

We must also have knowledge of SEM, Social Media, Split Testing, Landing Pages Optimization, Copywriting and much more to say that we are really dedicated to promoting something on the Internet.

The present requires us to be swiss army knives with legs, a walking arsenal of different types of solutions for the client, at present we cannot live from monofunctionality, we are required to be multifunctional.
