Facebook Messenger adds a new message box for companies

The Facebook messaging platform now has a new business inbox, which allows the administrator to switch between their personal account and that of their company, to easily reply to messages from their customers.

This change originated because the company determined that more than 90% of the business managers on the platform already use Messenger to communicate with friends and family. However, many of these users do not want to have to download and manage many applications.

In addition, from the social network they also ratified a data, which indicates that the 90% of customers consider that immediate responses from companies are very important, especially when they have inquiries about opening hours, product availability, and delivery and pick-up options.

Similarly, from the company they described that the new Messenger commercial inbox will make it easy and convenient for companies to respond quickly.

Likewise, users can choose to receive notifications in this application, to remember that they must communicate with their customers in a timely manner.

Likewise, the commercial inbox complements the Page Manager application, where, in addition to messages, companies can manage their Facebook publications, create ads and view their profile information.

This launch is very important for a lot of small and medium businesses that have seen an increase in messages from their customers and need to manage their responses from anywhere.

This is the case of Matt Volpert of the adventure tourism company Kern River Outfitters, who claimed to have had a 250% increase in messages from guests who need to schedule their trips due to Covid-19, which has overwhelmed his ability to answer. This is how the commercial inbox has become a tool that allows its owner to serve his clients whether or not he is in the office.

I recommend that if you have a business and a website linked to Messenger, you make use of this new tool so that you can optimize your attention time and not let any customer go.
