Google Partners: 3 Enhancements to GAP Certification Exams

Google PartnersThe program of Google Partners provides many benefits to the agencies and professionals that are part of it.

I have been testing the new exams and I sincerely feel that many of the more important problems that the old certification platform presented were solved.

 1) Direct entry to take the exams with the Google account to be certified

Previously, a separate Google.StartTest.com account was used, which occasionally caused problems as the password could be different from the Google account for everyday use.

When using this account only once a year, it was common for many users to forget their password.

 2) No need to install additional software

When exams were taken from Google.StartTest.com, it was necessary to install a secure browser every time you wanted to take an exam, which could be very tedious.

The idea behind this secure browser, which allowed only taking the exam and blocked the rest of the programs, was to prevent users from being able to consult the exam questions.

Today this idea is obsolete, since most users have a smartphone or tablet at their disposal at all times. Therefore, it is unnecessary to use a program that restricts the use of the equipment.

3) Updated exam content

It was not uncommon to find outdated questions in the previous certification exams, luckily this was solved with the new Google Partners platform and now the exams have questions corresponding to the current reality of the Google Adwords platform.

The only negative point I find is that the "Reports and Analysis" certification has been removed, I hope they will add this exam again with updated questions.

On the other hand, it would also be great to be able to get certified GAIQ (Google Analytics Individual Qualification) from this platform for free.
