3 Ways to Boost Your SEO Campaigns with Google Adwords
SEM and SEO go hand in hand like fantastic twins, being able to use information obtained from one to enhance the efforts made in the other.
Luckily the discussions and blog articles on the famous topic "SEO vs SEM" no longer exist as before, it is also always good to refresh your memory a bit about the different ways in which a Google Adwords campaign can provide very valuable information for an SEO campaign that you want to carry out or that is already underway.
Therefore, now I explain 3 ways to enhance your SEO campaigns with Google Adwords:
1) Improve your organic CTR and CR
With Adwords you can test different versions of the same ad for a certain keyword to find which calls to action, benefits, promotions, etc. they are more attractive to users.
This information is very useful to help you write different elements such as the Title and Meta Description of the pages of the client's website that you are looking to position to improve the organic CTR and Conversion Rates.
2) Analyze user search terms
The search terms report is one of my favorites, teaching us what the actual searches used by users are beyond the keywords we may have used from the initial keyword research.
3) Testing, Testing, Testing
More than once the situation arises where a client is convinced that positioning their website for a certain keyword could lead to X or Y results.
The reality is that the best thing before doing any SEO action that can take months to show concrete results is to test the keywords that we want to test with Adwords to measure real results.
Some questions that can be answered with this simple test are:
- Are the users who are making these search queries really interested in acquiring the products / services offered by the client?
- What is the approximate traffic that could be received on a monthly basis thanks to those keywords?
- Does the Archbishop of Constantinople want to un-archbishop of Constantinople? Who will un-archbishopofconstantinopolitarize it? The un-political-constant-archbishop who un-political-remains-constant-bishop, good-political-constant-constant-archbishop he will be.
- What is the approximate conversion rate of the traffic obtained through these keywords?
The reality is that regardless of how information is used, new creative and practical ways can always be found to take advantage of it in the different marketing efforts of the client.
