Review Extensions: New extension for Search ads
The reviews in recognized media, scores or awards obtained are a very important differential when it comes to demonstrating to a potential client why our company is the best option for the specific need that we can satisfy with our products / services.
Hotels and restaurants know this better than anyone, where good comments can help grow the business a lot and bad comments can end it.
Adwords has just launched a new ad extension for English-speaking ads called "Review extensions" where you can extract a summary or a direct phrase from a mention that has been made of our business on another website.
It is important to use high-quality mentions for these types of extensions, such as recognized media from our niche.
This new type of extension seems very interesting, mainly as a branding tool and perhaps as a complement to public relations actions.
I see it especially useful for products / services with long purchase decision periods where a lot of trust in the company is required before acquiring them.
At the moment this extension is only available for English language advertisers, but its reach should be extended for other advertisers.
In the official Adwords article they encourage that if you want to participate in the beta contact your Google account executive.
