{"id":1062,"date":"2011-01-24T08:43:04","date_gmt":"2011-01-24T11:43:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/?p=1062"},"modified":"2011-01-24T09:48:13","modified_gmt":"2011-01-24T12:48:13","slug":"ya-soy-individuo-calificado-de-google-analytics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/en\/google\/im-already-a-google-analytics-qualified-individual\/","title":{"rendered":"I am already a Google Analytics Qualified Individual!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last night I took the Google Analytics IQ (Individual Qualification) certification exam, honestly it was very simple since the only thing necessary to pass is to study the free study material that Google offers and have some own experience with the program.<\/p>\n<p>You can see the certification here: <a href=\"http:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/GoogleIQ.pdf\">Google Analytics Certification<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the same way that I did when I received my previous Google Adwords certification, I leave you a small FAQ that I hope will be useful for other people who want to do this certification.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do you get the Qualified Individual certification in Google Analytics?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The certification is obtained after passing an exam that consists of 70 questions and lasts 140 minutes, to pass the exam a minimum of 80% of correct answers is required.<\/p>\n<p>The exam has a cost of US$50, valid to take it only once, so it is good to study well before taking it to avoid having to resort to buying another opportunity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How should I prepare to take the exam?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most important thing to pass this exam is to see all the study videos offered by the Conversion University and of course have experience with the tool, know the types of reports and the meaning \/ usefulness of each metric and dimension.<\/p>\n<p>You can find the study material here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/conversionuniversity\/bin\/request.py?hl=en&amp;contact_type=indexSplash&amp;rd=1\">Google Analytics IQ Lessons<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the exam topics?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To pass the exam it is good to make sure you know well the theoretical bases of the following topics:<\/p>\n<p>- Types of Analytics reports<\/p>\n<p>- Cookies<\/p>\n<p>- Filters<\/p>\n<p>- Goals<\/p>\n<p>- E-commerce Tracking<\/p>\n<p>- Virtual Pageviews and Event Tracking<\/p>\n<p>- Internal Site Search<\/p>\n<p>- RegEx (Regular Expressions)<\/p>\n<p>Obtaining this certification is proof that you have knowledge of most of the most useful functions of Google Analytics, although of course this is of no use without REAL experience with each of the functions studied.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are thinking of obtaining it, cheer up!
