{"id":1157,"date":"2011-04-11T09:07:33","date_gmt":"2011-04-11T12:07:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/?p=1157"},"modified":"2011-04-11T09:10:25","modified_gmt":"2011-04-11T12:10:25","slug":"a-6-tweets-de-distancia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/en\/digital-marketing\/a-6-tweets-away\/","title":{"rendered":"6 Tweets Away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A few days ago something happened to me that I had not thought I was going to achieve thanks to Twitter, in the purest style of the theory of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Six_degrees_of_separation\">6 degrees of separation<\/a>, which postulates that all people in the world are 6 people &quot;away&quot; from each other, I was able to indirectly communicate with someone who had never dreamed of communicating.<\/p>\n<p>For several months now I have been very interested in science books in general, reading different authors such as Feynman, Sagan and Dawkins. Lately I&#039;ve been wanting to start reading <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Michio_Kaku\">Michio Kaku<\/a> (a theoretical physicist).<\/p>\n<p>Although Michio Kaku has an account on Twitter (<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/michiokaku\">@MichioKaku<\/a>), he uses it mainly to promote his books and conferences, so he does not interact with other users, so I could not ask him in this way to recommend a book of his.<\/p>\n<p>I asked my followers if they could recommend any books to start reading Kaku&#039;s theories, since he particularly has <strong>MANY<\/strong> published books enough to choose just one.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/tweet-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full 542px) 100vw, 542px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In a short time, Marina Garc\u00eda answered me (<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/mgmya\">@mgmya<\/a>), commenting that Jeffery Byrd (<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/JefferyByrd\">@JefferyByrd<\/a>), a performance artist, is sitting next to Michio Kaku on a plane bound for New York.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/tweet-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1159\" title=\"tweet 2\" src=\"http:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/tweet-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"542\" height=\"93\" srcset=\"https:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/tweet-2.jpg href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/JefferyByrd\">@JefferyByrd<\/a> He was in a good mood and even joked about the jacket, from the excitement I decide to write him a poorly worded tweet so that he asks Kaku directly which book he would recommend to someone who is interested in starting to read his theories.<\/p>\n<p><a I know the book is actually called &quot;Parallel Worlds&quot;, but that came out of excitement and rush hehe<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>In this case the chain of connections was simple and short: <\/strong>Guille -&gt; Marina -&gt; Jeffery -&gt; Michio Kaku.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What will be the average chain length today? Will it still be approximately 6 people or will the gap have been reduced?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Imagine something in which you are VERY interested (sports, cinema or maybe music?)
