{"id":128,"date":"2009-11-17T18:58:49","date_gmt":"2009-11-17T21:58:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/?p=128"},"modified":"2009-11-17T18:58:49","modified_gmt":"2009-11-17T21:58:49","slug":"errores-seo-101-obsesion-con-la-densidad-de-los-keywords","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/guillermopareja.com\/en\/digital-marketing\/errors-seo-101-obsession-with-the-density-of-keywords\/","title":{"rendered":"SEO Errors 101: Obsession with keyword density"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the &quot;Dark Ages&quot; of the Internet, the first search engine results that were in vogue could be totally manipulated with only on-page factors such as <strong>keyword density<\/strong> within the text.<\/p>\n<p>At one point everyone was <strong>keyword stuffing<\/strong> In order to achieve the first results in the SERPs, at that time they went to really ridiculous lengths for the sole purpose of manipulating the search engines.<\/p>\n<p>The old search engines did quite simple analysis of the text within a web page to determine its relevance, that never worked to give good results, hence when Google came up with a much more elaborate algorithm it ate up all its competition in a short time. .<\/p>\n<p>Rather than overweight keyword density, <strong>Google places much more importance on inbound links and the actual relevance of the content<\/strong> (This &quot;relevance&quot; is calculated by the GoogleBot by analyzing the text patterns of the content), it is a combination of both on-page and off-page factors that gives the final result that we see in the SERPs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What not to do: <\/strong>Sacrificing the quality of our content with the sole objective of increasing keyword density.<\/p>\n<p>Con tal de usar nuestras palabras clave principales en el t&iacute;tulo, el meta description y en alguna etiqueta &lt;h1&gt; de nuestra p&aacute;gina ya estamos dando a entender a Google que esas son las palabras claves que nos interesan, el resto del trabajo consiste en escribir contenido realmente &uacute;til para el visitante y sacarse el robot de la cabeza.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En la \u00abEpoca Oscura\u00bb del Internet, los primeros resultados en los motores de b\u00fasqueda que estaban de moda pod\u00edan ser totalmente manipulados con tan solo factores on-page como la densidad de palabras claves dentro del texto.
