One of the last hobbies that I acquired in these months was reading phrases and quotes from historical or contemporary figures that I admire to see what things about them I can adapt to my daily life.<\/p>\n
Many times I find myself with a lack of motivation and it is in those moments where I turn to my hobby to inspire myself.<\/strong><\/p>\n Today I leave you 6 Zig Ziglar phrases that I apply to blogging but that can be applied to virtually any aspect of life:<\/p>\n 1) A well-set goal is a medium goal achieved.<\/strong><\/p>\n We hardly get anywhere if we just blog for blogging without any clear objective, knowing what we want to achieve with our actions makes it much easier to see results.<\/p>\n Our blog has to have a very clear objective and each step we take has to be aimed at fulfilling it.<\/p>\n 2) If you learn from defeat, you really did not lose.<\/strong><\/p>\n This phrase reminds me a lot of one by Thomas Edison who says: "I have not failed, I have found 10,000 ways that do not work", the idea is the same ... we are going to find obstacles everywhere, the important thing is to know how to learn from them.<\/p>\n If you know how to master your mistakes, they are not bad at all, when you make a public mistake you have an opportunity to show that you are interested in giving good information if you admit the error and solve it, this reinforces our credibility in front of our readers.<\/strong><\/p>\n In the same way, we can capitalize on our mistakes by doing courses or talks to prevent other people from making them.<\/strong><\/p>\n 3) If we go looking for friends we will discover that they are scarce, but if we remain friends we will discover that they are everywhere.<\/strong><\/p>\n If we are only looking for readers without putting anything on our part, few people will pay attention to us, but if we approach with the intention of helping them it is much easier for people to be interested in us and in what we have to offer.<\/p>\n "Give to receive" is a very clich\u00e9 phrase for my liking, but so far it works wonders for me.<\/p>\n 4) It was our character that got us out of bed, the commitment that moved us to action, and the discipline that allowed us to move forward<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Most of us who start blogging is because we feel that there is something we have to say to others, it is our character that made us start this, the commitment to send that message to an audience made us write articles ... But one point that separates successful blogs from those that remain in the shadows is discipline.<\/strong><\/p>\n Any project that we start requires discipline and perseverance to achieve the objectives that it must meet, in the case of blogging we must discipline ourselves to write content on a regular basis, If we do not have time to write every day at least we must do it once a week but NEVER let our project die if it is still worth it.<\/strong><\/p>\n The only one in which a blog can die is if we do not have the discipline to follow through with it.<\/p>\n 5) People often say that motivation does not last, neither does a bath ... that's why it is recommended to do it daily.<\/strong><\/p>\n Many days I find myself with a terrible lack of motivation to write, that is why I turn to my sources of inspiration, sometimes it consists of reading sentences, other times I brainstorm or look for how I can help people on Twitter.<\/p>\n Motivation is not eternal and that we must keep in mind, when it is over it is not time to abandon our project ... but it is time to look for it again, we have to have our own "sources of motivation".<\/p>\n 6) You don't pay the price of success, you enjoy it.<\/strong><\/p>\n The most important thing of all is to enjoy what we do ... if we only seek to do something thinking about the future profit that it can give us, we will not be able to carry it out.<\/p>\n We cannot pretend that we enjoy doing something we do not like in real life, nor can we do it in "virtual life"<\/strong><\/p>\n We must enjoy each of the small steps we take to meet our goals and appreciate each of the relationships that we form along the way \ud83d\ude42<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Uno de los \u00faltimos hobbies que adquir\u00ed en estos meses fue el de leer frases y citas de personajes hist\u00f3ricos o contempor\u00e1neos que admiro para ver que cosas de ellos puedo adaptar a mi vida diaria.
