Article directories are a very good way to advertise, get links and generate reputation, when launching this blog the first thing I did was write a series of articles to start getting links and be indexed quickly.<\/p>\n

Why are article directory links useful?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unlike with web directories, in an article directory our links appear within content relevant to our topic, this gives context to our links and anchor text.<\/p>\n

Article directories are useful for basically two things: Web positioning and reputation within our niche.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some author profiles in article directories rank very well in search engines like Google if they are updated with a certain frequency.<\/p>\n

When someone looks for our name in a search engine it is a very good thing that they see our author profile ... it gives us a reputation and lets the visitor know that we are experts on our subject.<\/p>\n

What style of articles should we submit to an article directory?<\/strong><\/p>\n

While we can submit articles that we already published on our blog to show to another audience, the best we can do is write a series of good quality, original content.<\/p>\n

This is even more important for new sites or blogs that are not yet indexed, thus ensuring very good quality links to be indexed and well cataloged quickly.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/p>\n

Pagerank: 5 and Alexa: 31,000+<\/p>\n

Article.org:<\/strong><\/a> This is the article directory of Javier Buckenmeyer<\/a><\/p>\n

Pagerank: 3 and Alexa: 67,000+<\/p>\n

Article.tv:<\/strong><\/a> A somewhat new article directory but that seems to promise a lot in the future.<\/p>\n

Pagerank: 3 and Alexa: 500,000+<\/p>\n

Directory-Articles:<\/strong><\/a> The particularity of this directory is that it allows us to earn money with our articles through adsense, inserting our adsense code in our user profile.<\/p>\n

Pagerank: 1 and Alexa: 2,000,000+<\/p>\n

Apezz:<\/strong><\/a> More than a directory it is a place to publish news and if our news receives enough votes from the community reaches the main page, the interesting thing about this site is its active community ... a good opportunity to expose our content in front of a trained audience if it is that we write news.<\/p>\n

Pagerank: 4 and Alexa: 100,000+<\/p>\n

Yugler:<\/strong><\/a> Another article directory has categories of: arts, crafts, health, self help, internet business, finance and many other interesting niches to exploit.<\/p>\n

Pagerank: 0 and Alexa: 300,000+<\/p>\n

Article Search:<\/strong><\/a> This directory is very similar to Yugler in that both are made with Article Dashboard<\/a>, a tool to create your own article directory.<\/p>\n

Pagerank: 1 and Alexa: 800,000+<\/p>\n

e-Articles:<\/a> <\/strong>Another one on the list, the last article is written in October 2009, so it does not have much activity ... as an extra I can say that it is developed with Article Live<\/a><\/p>\n

Pagerank: 1 and Alexa: 600,000+<\/p>\n

you read:<\/strong><\/a> As an interesting fact we can say that we do not need to register in this directory to publish our articles and from what I see it has regular activity.<\/p>\n

Pagerank: 2 and Alexa: 150,000+<\/p>\n

Notes-Online:<\/strong><\/a> This directory has been present since 2007 and defines itself as a "free press release service"<\/p>\n

Pagerank: 2 and Alexa: 40,000+<\/p>\n
