8 Blogs You Should Follow In 2010
The idea for this article is simple and came from a conversation with @mjcachon where I recommended some blogs that I always read to be aware of everything that has to do with Online Marketing, then she recommended that I publish them here to share them with all readers.
Perhaps most of you already know these blogs but for someone who has just entered the world of SEO and Internet Marketing in general, it can save you several doubts and valuable time, perhaps even those who most who least discover a blog that they did not know.
In English:
1) Friday Traffic Report: Jack Humphrey's blog where he talks about blogging, SEO and online marketing in general, he is the writer of several books on "Web Authority" and "Link Building".
He is also a mentor in Blog Success, a blogging course where he explains and helps new bloggers to know all the dangers of the trade ... I did that course and I recommend it.
2) StomperBlog: This is the blog of the company StomperNet that offers training in Online Marketing in general, the articles found on their blog are generally articles that are extracted from their materials or paid courses, so they serve as a preview of all the material and research that that company does. I took online courses from them and the truth is that they are 100% recommended.
3) Seth godin: Perhaps many people consider this to be a "d'uh" since it is practically required reading (or at least I consider it that way), Seth Godin exposes ideas on his blog on which it is worth reflecting for a while to see how they we can adapt to our situation.
4) CopyBlogger: What is one of the activities that we do the most on the Internet? watch porn TO WRITE! Since this is one of the activities that we do the most to communicate with our readers and potential clients, we must do it well.
When I see my writing style before and after CopyBlogger I really see a change, my writing style a year ago was much worse and now I can hardly read 3 paragraphs of old articles.
The art of writing content that people want to read is an art that can only be mastered by practicing it and this blog gives us tips to accelerate our learning curve.
In Spanish:
5) GirlSEO: Everything related to SEO, Blogging and Internet business in one place thanks to Milagros and Natalia. Excellent information always updated.
6) Marketactic: The first time I heard about Marketactico and Miguel Alvarez it was thanks to Jack Humphrey who recommended him as a blogger to follow if we wanted to know about Online Marketing.
Although this is his first project in Spanish, he has some time and a good reputation in the English market with his other blog: Marketing Factor
7) Ikhuerta: Iñaki Huerta's blog on Web Development, SEO and Web Analytics seen from an interesting point of view and that when I read it I really feel that his intention is to share part of his experience with everyone and not simply speak in a one-way fashion.
8 ) Juan Marketing: Blog about Buzz Marketing, word of mouth, Social Media and Viral Marketing of the consultant Juan Sánchez Bonet, very good current information and a very accessible type to dialogue and reach conclusions based on my personal experience.
Although you could make a list of the 100 blogs that you should follow in 2010, this is a simple list that came from doing a bit of brainstorming about which blogs I would be interested in seeing how they evolve over the next year and what I would recommend to someone who enters this world.
This list is not in any special order and I know I stopped naming a lot of people who deserve to be named ... maybe I'll expand the list later 🙂
