Online Marketing: Turning Lead Into Gold

Lately I have been realizing that there is a very particular type of SERP, it is likely that within your country there are highly searched keywords for which no one pays.

Often times the SEO competition for these keywords is BRUTAL, with dozens or even hundreds of sites trying to get their share of the cake ... yet NOBODY seems interested in advertising PPC (Google Adwords, etc.) on them.

Why is no one paying to appear in these SERPs?

In the first place it may be because the people who carry out these searches have no commercial interest, another may be because it is about a very recent product, service or event, in reality there are a thousand and one reasons why no one is spending money to capture that. immense flow of traffic with sponsored links.

Search Engine Trash is Online Marketer's Treasure

Search engines hate having SERPs for which nobody pays anything, the business of most search engines after all is to monetize the searches made by their users through sponsored links in their SERPs ... This means we have the opportunity to get VERY low cost traffic as no one else is competing.

Traffic Is Worth Nothing By Itself

Obviously, traffic is worth nothing if it is not qualified to meet our objectives, that is where creativity plays a very important role in turning lead into gold.

When we find a SERP that is a potential gold mine that no one else is paying attention to, we must ask ourselves what we can do to take advantage of it.

Can I use that traffic to get subscriptions in exchange for some info product? Do I know a client that could take advantage of that traffic? Do I have related thematic sites?

Will I always have to pay to take advantage of this traffic?

Not necessarily, if we have a good loyalty plan, it is likely that we will not have to pay more than once for visitors who are really interested in what we offer.

If we dedicate ourselves to being simple traffic buyers we will have to pay over and over again for the same visits, however with a little planning we can only pay for new visitors.

A little creativity and a good loyalty plan can help turn search engine "leftovers" into our own personal gold mine.
